Autism OdysSea
Every year, a special day by the sea is designated just for families with a loved one on the autism spectrum. For just $10 per family, you can celebrate with the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station. Volunteers, teachers and students from the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station are on hand to make this the most memorable OdysSea yet!
Attendees rotate as they like, moving from station to station around the park to learn more about their seafaring neighbors. Dozens of activities are available, including fish prints and touch tanks. Why visit an aquarium when you can be in one? From 9am to 1pm, explore a dolphin rescue activity and snap great photos at a character meet-and-greet.
You Get a Sea Plus!
Sensory stations are especially popular, and all are themed with sea creatures in mind. Find out which shark tales are myths—and which are true. Hands on activities, compliments of Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, the Gulf Breeze Zoo, Sea Grant, and the Emerald Coast Science Center and Museum, make this a memorable experience for all.
