Wine Tasting

MDA Fill-the-Boot Campaign
Your local firefighters have started up their annual MDA Fill-the-Boot Campaign. They will be setting up at the Navarre Walmart on Sept. 30, 4 to 8 p.m. and Oct. 1, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in order to raise awareness for muscular dystrophy, as well as collect donations to the cause.

Pensacola Seafood Festival
Sample a variety of mouth-watering seafood dishes and enjoy continuous entertainment in Fountain Park Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Arts and crafts vendors will be displaying their unique wares, many items reflective of our area’s unique Gulf Coast lifestyle. A children’s area is filled with activities for all ages. Navarre Fishing Rodeo
The Navarre Chamber Foundation is excited to once again bring to anglers young and old, novice and expert, the 4th Annual Navarre Fishing Rodeo set to take place Oct. 1 and 2. This event has become a very popular and much anticipated fishing opportunity with participation growing each year. Take a Kid Fishing
This free kid’s fishing pole giveaway and clinic is staged at Navarre Beach Pier, 8579 Gulf Blvd., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. First 500 children under 12 receive a free fishing pole, t-shirt and hat. Participants are encouraged to pre-register at fishnavarre.com or if available, day of event. The event includes free bait and fishing instruction. Monarch Madness Butterfly Festival
The Monarch Madness Butterfly Festival will be Oct. 7-8, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Panhandle Butterfly House located in Navarre. Gulf Breeze Community Expo & Taste of Gulf Breeze
The Gulf Breeze Community Expo will be on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 & 8. Friday 5 to 8:30 p.m. features the Taste of Gulf Breeze, a 21 and up only venue, and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. family day featuring children’s activities at the Gulf Breeze Community Center. Glass Pumpkin Patch
First City Art Center’s 10th annual Glass Pumpkin Patch takes place on Saturday, Oct. 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1060 N. Guillemard St. This year, attendees will have over 3,000 hand-blown glass and hand-thrown clay pumpkins to choose from. The pumpkins are created by members of First City Art Center’s glass and pottery guilds. Prices for pumpkins begin at $30. The Pumpkin Patch is First City Art Center’s largest fundraiser of the year and the sale helps support programs and outreach throughout the year. Fire Prevention Festival
The Holley-Navarre Fire District is hosting Fire Prevention Festival at Navarre United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in support of Fire Prevention Week and this year’s campaign. The event will include Bouncies, Music, Raffles Games, Food, and Safety Displays.

 

Holley Hill Pottery &Art Studio
Coast Kiln Walk Society has the largest wood fueled anagama kiln and the only reconstructed wood fueled kiln from the 1940s in the State. Holley Hill Pottery has been making pottery in Santa Rosa County
for over 30 years using local clays capturing the lifestyle, scenery and sea life of the Gulf Coast. Studio will be open Oct. 8, 15, 22 & 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7505 Buckeye Dr.

Sea Turtle Extravaganza

Run for the Reef
