SUP in Navarre
Stand up paddle boarding, or SUP, is a fun way to explore the turquoise waters of Navarre Beach and there are plenty of board rental companies in the area. You may have seen water-lovers standing on specialty boards as they explore the ocean—and although it can be a serious workout, it’s also relatively easy once you get the hang of it. Sign up for a SUP class if you’re brand-new, or rent your board and paddle with no lessons required.
It’s a cousin of surfing straight out of Hawaii that lets you prop yourself through the water with no need of a wave. First officially documented in 2013 when it claimed the title of most first-timers, it’s the perfect way to make the most of a Navarre Beach getaway.
